Christopher Jullien insists Celtic will emerged victorious from this weekend's Viaplay Cup final.

The ex-Hoops defender claims the League Cup trophy will be draped in "green and white" ribbons once more.

The Frenchman was a key figure in the last cup final played between the Glasgow giants.

Jullien scored the winner in December 2019 as Neil Lennon's men ran out 1-0 winners at Hampden.

The big defender is clearly hoping Ange Postecoglou's side can repeat history when they take on their arch city rivals at the national stadium.

While his time at Celtic didn't end in the best of circumstances when he moved to Montpellier last summer, the player clearly still holds a fond place for the Scottish champions in his heart.

The SPFL shared a clip of Jullien's goal in that cup final on their social media channels yesterday.

Jullien tweeted the account back: "What a goal. Sunday the cup will be green and white again. Let's go guys."

Celtic have been in great form this season and currently enjoy a nine-point lead over Rangers at the summit of the Premiership table.

Since Michael Beale took over in November, during the World Cup break, Rangers have been on equally as good form by winning all of their games apart from the draw in the derby at Ibrox at the beginning of January.
