Celtic hero Chris Sutton has criticised former referee Hugh Dallas, calling him 'ignorant'.
The official famously sent off the Englishman during the 2001 League Cup final against Kilmarnock and it appears that is not the only incident that has left the 49-year-old with a grievance.
Dallas left the Scottish game in 2010 after departing from his post as head of refereeing of the country due to offensive comments made in an email about the Pope's visit to Scotland and works as a referee officer for UEFA.
And Sutton has detailed a match in which he was down injured and felt that Dallas behaved in an "ignorant" way towards him.
Speaking to the Daily Record, he said: "I never liked Hugh Dallas. I thought he was an ignorant referee.
"I remember getting injured in a game at Aberdeen. I think I had a bad knee injury and was out for a long time
"I told Hugh that I felt my knee go and I asked him if he could stop the game. He turned around and told me 'to get on with it' or words to that affect.
"I thought that was really poor from him. I asked him to stop the game because I was injured and he didn't and that summed him up."
The ex-Premier League winner was then asked about the specific red card decision that went against him in the 2001 final.
He called it a "ridiculous decision" and claimed Dallas made it "all about him".

Sutton also spoke about recent war of words with Rangers boss Michael Beale.
The Ibrox manager recently made clear there was no love lost between the two men.
And the Celtic hero continued to stoke the flames, saying: "I think for Michael Beale it's not necessarily a must-win but look at it this way. If Ange Postecoglou and Celtic don't win the game, Celtic fans will be disappointed, of course they will, but there will still be that element of total trust in Postecoglou.
"If Rangers lose the game will there be the same faith in Michael Beale? Who has come in and had plenty to say but hasn't backed it up with the trophy? So that's his issue.
"It's a one off game, and you could argue if Rangers win the game and Celtic lose the game, I mean they (Celtic) are not going to try any harder, but they will really have to focus and use that as a tool to get them over the line."
