Celtic could head to South Korea in the summer as part of a pre-season trip to the Far East, according to reports.
It's claimed Celtic are planning a trip to Japan in the summer - and now, a stop in South Korea could be added to the calendar.
Should Celtic head to South Korea, then it would be a quickfire homecoming for January recruit Oh Hyeon-gyu who left Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
The Scottish Sun report that Celtic have been invited to a glamour tournament in Japan with PSG Manchester City and Bayern Munich touted as possible friendly opposition.
And the latest development has added that Celtic could head to Seoul this summer in keeping with the club global marketing strategy.
It comes after Japanese media outlet Sponichi claimed that the club will head to Japan as part of the 2023/24 season preparations with matches against two J-League sides planned.

Japanese-based journalist Dan Orlowitz at the time warned fans hoping to travel they would have to wait on the nation re-opening borders to tourists.
Orlowitz tweeted: “This is such a tap-in that the only surprise, to me, is that it took until now for something to leak, but I suppose there’s no urgency 1+ year out.
“Of concern to those anticipating the Japanese Bhoys’ participation will be the Asian Cup (likely hosted in SK or maybe Japan).
"Would-be traveling support should keep in mind that as of this tweet, Japan’s borders are still closed to almost all tourists.
“Obviously hopes/expectations are that the latter issue is resolved by Summer 2023, because if it isn’t, then, uh, yikes. Also don’t look up flight prices right now if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, just saying.”
