Kris Boyd insists Alfredo Morelos is "finished" at Rangers and Michael Beale must sign a new striker.
The Ibrox hero reckons Morelos isn't mobile enough to play at striker for Rangers - particularly against Celtic like at Hampden on Sunday.
Boyd - who cited criticism over his own mobility as a player - slammed Morelos' attitude as he compared and contrasted the Columbian's output with Kyogo Furuhashi at Celtic.
In his Scottish Sun column, Boyd wrote: "Kyogo Furuhashi couldn’t give any more for Ange Postecoglou if he tried.
"Alfredo Morelos looks like he couldn’t care any less. That’s why if Michael Beale does one thing this summer, it has to be replacing him."
Boyd has been vocal in his defence of Morelos in the past and insists his initial signing was a "bargain" but reckons it's time for Rangers and the player to move on in the summer.
Michael Beale previously stated no contracts have been offered to players, for Boyd even if one had been tabled to Morelos it should now be ripped up and the money used to sign a new striker.

He added: "At £1million, he was a bargain buy and I won’t ever change my mind on that.
"But his time is up at Ibrox. He’s finished."
Boyd revealed he was left frustrated at times in his career when he was left out against Celtic by Walter Smith.
But upon reflection reckons it was the right call with other players offering more of a mobile threat to worry the Celtic rearguard.
Boyd insists Morelos previously did over a threat in behind the defence and being a nuisance - but reckons the striker either can't get himself back into the physical shape required for that role, or simply doesn't want to.
Boyd said: "In Kyogo, Celtic have a selfless team player, someone who runs himself into the ground for the greater good.
"Put simply, in Morelos, Rangers don’t."
"It’s not that he hasn’t ever been able to do it. Because he has in the past.
"No, Morelos either can’t get himself back into the physical shape required to put a shift in for the team. Or he doesn’t want to.
"Either way, it has to stop. The No 9 position is far too important to how teams play these days and right now Rangers are suffering because of Morelos’ lack of mobility.
"That may sound rich to some coming from me — but I hold my hands up on that.
"The difference is I wasn’t picked to play against Celtic."
