Kieran Tierney has held talks with Mikel Arteta over his Arsenal situation, it has been confirmed.
The former Celtic left-back has grown unhappy over his lack of game time at The Emirates so far this season.
The Scotland international has just four Premier League starts so far this campaign, with the remainder of his appearances coming in the cup competitions and in the Europa League.
Oleksandr Zinchenko was signed from Manchester City in the summer - and he's clearly the number-one pick for Arteta.
So, Tierney's lack of minutes in the first team has led to intense speculation that he could leave this summer.
Newcastle United are believed to be monitoring the 25-year-old's position at the Gunners.
Tierney is expected to miss tonight's Europa League clash with Sporting Lisbon through injury.
But Arteta detailed his recent chat with KT before today's game.

Arteta told Football London: "(It was) Very good because we talked and we discussed the situation and we had a very similar opinion about that.
"He knows his role – under me he’s played a lot, more than any other player probably compared to the previous players at the club in the last three years and he understands the situation and he needs to challenge the situation."
