An Ex-Rangers star has revealed he headbutted a presenter on a popular footy program.
Kevin Kyle, the former Rangers striker who also played for Scotland and Kilmarnock, was reminiscing about his time on Soccer AM on the Open Goal podcast.
We reported last week that Sky was set to cancel Soccer AM after nearly 30 years on air.
Simon Ferry and Kyle shared memories about the series on their latest episode when Kyle admitted to headbutting presenter Helen Chamberlain, reports the Sun.
Kyle told Ferry: "I was on Soccer AM."
He replied: "As a guest? No way? In what year?"
Kyle said: "2003, 2004 maybe. It was me, Freddie Flintoff and Steve Harmison."
Ferry responded: "Only been doing this show six years and this is you just telling me, brilliant."
Kyle then shared the story with his co-hosts, who couldn't keep from bursting into laughter.
He said: "I came in and shook Helen and Tim Loveyjoy's hands.
"When Helen came up I said 'Hello, I'm Sunderland's number nine, Kevin Kyle'.
"I went to shake her hand and give her a wee kiss and I headbutted her!
"Went in, she went one way and I went the same way and I f****** headbutted her!"
Kyle was at Sunderland when he got his one and only shot on the famous sofa.
