Ange Postecoglou has been priced among the early favourites for the vacant Leicester City job.
Brendan Rodgers left the club by mutual consent on Sunday afternoon and Postecoglou was immediately involved in speculation for the Premier League job.
Leicester agreed to part company with Rodgers with the club facing the threat of relegation from the top division as they languish in 18th spot.
And after four years with Rodgers at the helm, Leicester will be aiming for a quickfire appointment to help them beat the drop with ten matches left this season.
Current Celtic boss Postecoglou has been installed as second-favourite for a move to the King Power Stadium - priced at 17/2 with Betfair.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank is the favourite with bookies in the immediate aftermath of Rodgers' departure, he is priced at 5/1 for the role.
Further back in the odds is Rafa Benitez at 9/1. The former Liverpool and Newcastle boss boasts plenty of experience but has been out of work since leaving Everton in January last year.

Marcelo Bielsa, Mauricio Pochettino and Ralph Hasenhuttl are all at odds of 10/1 for a switch to Leicester with Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also in contention.
A huge outsider for the job is also be Neil Lennon who is currently 16/1 to return to his former club.
He is currently looking for a new managerial position after being sacked by Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia in October.
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “Thomas Frank is the early 5/1 frontrunner to be the next Leicester City manager after Brendan Rodgers’ four-year stint came to an end on Sunday.
"Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is the 17/2 second-favourite to take the reins at the Foxes, who dropped into the relegation zone with a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
"Meanwhile, Marcelo Bielsa, Mauricio Pochettino and Ralph Hasenhuttl are all 10/1 to succeed Rodgers.”
While Postecoglou has been tipped as a candidate by punters and bookies, Celtic hero Stiliyan Petrov reckons he'll be at Celtic for "another few years".
On Sky Sports, Petrov said: "Of course. Good managers and good players they always get linked with big clubs especially down in the Premier League.
"But I believe he is doing a great job at Celtic and he will stay because it's about the project.
"I think you've got the power, the players that he believes can play the style he preaches so I'm not surprised but I believe he will stay for another few years."
