Burnley have reportedly made their move to sign Rangers star Ryan Kent.
It's been said in recent weeks that the recently-promoted Championship league leaders planned to scout the 26-year-old.
Vincent Kompany's team are ready to forward-plan for their assault on the Premier League next term having secured their promotion at such an early stage.
And the Daily Mail claim that Burnley have been in touch with Kent's representatives to formally declare their interest.
Kent is out of contract at Ibrox in the coming months, with no news over a new deal at the minute.
It's no secret that Michael Beale is keen to hold on to one of his star men beyond this campaign, as he looks to rebuild and shape the team in his style.
But it remains very unclear whether Kent will be a part of that rebuild.
Should Kent decide Burnley is the new destination for him, he will battle it out for a place in the team against the likes of Anass Zaroury.
Kent has previously been heavily linked with a move to Leeds United.

Meanwhile, David Martindale is convinced Stephen Kelly will go on to play at a ‘higher level’ and earn Livingston a transfer fee after thriving at the club this season.
Martindale was surprised to land the Rangers youngster on a permanent deal in September but insists paying a fee for the 23-year-old was ‘too good an opportunity to miss’.
Kelly celebrated his 23rd birthday last week with a goal in Saturday’s crucial 2-0 win over St Johnstone to take his tally to five for the campaign.
And Martindale is thrilled with the way the former Ross County and Ayr United loanee has settled into life with the Lions since joining on a three-year deal.
