Alfredo Morelos was last night presented with a special award at the Rangers Player of the Year event.
The Colombian striker, who will depart the club in the summer, was awarded a European top goalscorer gong at the glitzy event.
However, fans only realised Morelos had been recognised for his contributions when the player shared an image of the award and a Rangers-branded bottle of whisky.
The striker, 26, posted a story on Instagram of the trophy with a thinking face emoji.
And it raised questions from supporters after the presentation was not documented on the club social media accounts.
Various awards for Player of the Year for the men and women's sides as well as Goal of the Year had been announced on the Rangers social platforms.
Morelos is the Rangers all-time top European goalscorer for the club have broken Ally McCoist's tally. The forward has 29 goals in European competition for Rangers.

However, Morelos was not involved against Hibs on Sunday due to injury with Michael Beale lamenting a limited squad through fitness issues.
He explained: "The mentality of the group was absolutely fantastic because the preparation couldn’t have been any worse.
"We lost Alfredo and Glen in training, Rabbi was on the bench but unable to come on.
"Scott Wright we lost overnight, Arfield came on but was playing through a problem.
"Coming to the game and knowing Hibs’ form I thought it might be interesting because we probably had 12 unavailable."
