Rangers are reportedly hot on the trail of Ike Ugbo.
The Ibrox club are said to be interested in the Troyes striker, who Michael Beale supposedly knows from his time at Chelsea.
The Scottish Sun reports that Beale is keen to bring the 24-year-old to Glasgow this summer as part of his first team rebuild.
However, they state that Rangers will have to fend off stiff competition to sign the attacker, with Premier League new boys Burnley also interested in his services.
Ugbo was born in England and switched his international allegiances to Canada.
He's had plenty of first-team experience, featuring in loan spells at Barnsley and Club Brugge before a move to Genk.
He was sent out on loan to Ligue 1 side Troyes after only five months in Belgium, and he made that move permanent last summer.
He signed a four-year contract last year. It's reported that Troyes values the player at £3.5million, should any potential suitors wish to pursue a deal.
Ugbo played for England Under-20s before switching to Canada in 2021.

The 6ft 1 hitman, who has eight caps and was in their World Cup squad, fits Beale’s profile as he embarks on a massive Rangers rebuild.
The Gers manager is undoubtedly keen to bolster his attacking options following the imminent exits of Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.
They will be joined by Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor, and Filip Helander in leaving the club at the end of this season.
More players are set to leave this summer, with as many as seven new signings arriving.
Kieran Dowell has already penned a three-year deal and joins on a free from Norwich City.
