Ange Postecoglou is reportedly plotting a double Tottenham transfer swoop for Hiroki Ito and Reo Hatate.
The former Celtic boss could look to reunite with Hatate in North London - however, it's Ito is thought to be the most likely to complete a switch to the Premier League.
Postecoglou was immediately linked with a move for Hatate after bringing him to Celtic from the J-League.
And Japanese outlet Sponichi Annex reports that there is a "good chance" Postecoglou will request a move be made to sign Hatate.
Similar reports emerged over a possible transfer move for Kyogo Furuhashi, but it's claimed Hatate would be the priority if Postecoglou were to raid his former club.
However, Ito is thought to have attracted serious interest from Spurs.
The centre-back, 24, is currently on the books at German club VfB Stuttgart until 2025.

Spurs lost defender Clement Lenglet who departed the club after a loan spell last season and Ito could be viewed as a possible replacement on the left-hand side of defence.
Sponichi Annex reports a source said: "...there is a possibility that it will be officially offered."
It comes after Hatate admitted he would like to compete in "various leagues" in the future.
He told GOAL: "If there is a chance to step up, I would like to play in various leagues.
"As a football player, I think everyone wants to play at a high level throughout the season. When I was in the J-League, I thought it was impossible to play in the five major leagues.
"However, because I was able to achieve a certain amount of results throughout the season with Celtic, I started to think that I would like to challenge myself next time. If there is a chance, I would like to take on the challenge.
"Of course, if I stay with this team, I can still have good experiences, and next season I will be in the Champions League. I think that by always standing at the top and fighting, I will be mentally stronger, so it would be nice if I stayed."
