Ange Postecoglou is set to sit down with Harry Kane this week to discuss Spurs home truths.
It's thought the former Celtic boss will meet with Kane privately this week to discuss what has gone wrong at the club and the best plans to get back on track.
Postecoglou officially started as Tottenham boss on July 1 and has had a frantic start to his time in charge in North London.
Four new signings have arrived at the club in Dejan Kulusevski, Guglielmo Viacrio, Mano Solomon and James Maddison.
Postecoglou also held his first press conference where he was quizzed on Kane's situation and his approach at Spurs.
But, the most significant change at the club under Postecoglou comes in his altered approach from his predecessors in North London.
Postecoglou outlined his intention to treat all players the same at Spurs, and the Evening Standard reports the intention highlights the "change of direction" at the club.
The report goes on to suggest Kane may be struck by Postecoglou's contrasting approach to that of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

And further, in another change from previous regimes, Postecoglou will "likely be more relaxed" about Kane's future even if a transfer exit is in the pipeline unlike the "unacceptable" scenario under Conte and Mourinho.
On Kane's position at Spurs, Postecoglou said: "I don't think it's my role to sit there and sort of treat people in a manner because of their circumstances.
"I'm really big on treating everyone the same. Harry is someone who has already entrenched themselves in the history of this football club and he's very important."
And discussing his priorities at his new club, he added: "In terms of the squad, the reason I'm here is because the club is seeking change. Change in direction, change in the way that we do things. That usually transpires in a change of personnel with the squad.
"Within that context, my role at the minute is to deal with what's in front of me and the certainties that I have, also knowing that there are going to be many uncertainties.
"I'm trying to tick off, one by one, the path forward for us. What are squad is going to look like may take a little while."
