Tottenham fans have reacted positively to their pre-season defeat to West Ham as Ange Postecoglou took charge of his first game as Spurs boss.
Both London clubs went head to head in Perth Australia, but it was David Moyes' side who came out on top in the friendly encounter.
Danny Ings, Divin Mubama and Gianluca Scamacca were all on the scoresheet for the Hammers, while Giovani Lo Celso and Destiny Udogie grabbed goals for Spurs.
Despite the defeat, Tottenham fans were left heartened by their team's display with some hailing the pace and energy of the "Ange-ball".
One supporter wrote: "Couldn't care less about the result, Solomon, Perisic, Devine, Lo Celso and Sarr all absolutely unreal. Genuinely enjoyed that more than any competitive Spurs game for the last 3 years. Up the Ange ball."
Another said: "It was great stuff. One touch football. Bissouma was top notch too."
A third posted: "Result is irrelevant. That is the best I’ve seen Spurs perform in a long time. Give Ange 1, just 1, world class centre back and we will win a trophy 100%."
A fourth tweeted: "We all wanted a win. But Ange can't fix the damage overnight. I saw positives today, dynamic moves. We need to be more clinical up front and vastly improve defence. A step in the right direction. I have hope."
And a fifth added: "Spurs could actually be a very entertaining team to watch this season. Far more creativity going forwards but trying to play a back 4 with their current set of defenders is going to be carnage. Should finish top half."
