Celtic are gearing up for flag day as they start their defence of the Premiership crown.

The Hoops will be going for three in a row this year with Brendan Rodgers at the helm.

Ange Postecoglou guided Celtic to back-to-back league titles in Scotland during his two years spent in Glasgow.

But the Aussie left for Spurs earlier this summer, and Rodgers has returned.

Despite the change of manager, the goal remains the same for the club - to maintain their dominance over Scottish football.

Ross County are first up for the Hoops. Here are all of the details you need to know...

Team news

With regards to the hosts, Rodgers provided positive updates on Cameron Carter-Vickers and Anthony Ralston.

He said: "Both those players came through really well during the week, which is great news for us.

“They are back with the squad. They probably aren’t as up to speed as some of the other boys but they still look in very good condition, so we will take a look at them on Friday.”

Alistair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi will be missing from the defence, though. Rodgers is hopeful the pair could be back available for selection within the next three to four weeks.
