Gustaf Lagerbielke has revealed his Celtic move was completed just one week after initial contact over a transfer switch.
The Swedish international, 23, finalised a five-year deal at Celtic on Wednesday.
Celtic are thought to have paid around £3million to land Lagerbielke. The centre-back is viewed as a replacement for Carl Starfelt who left Celtic last week for Celta Vigo.
And Lagerbielke has opened up on his whirlwind move to Celtic with the deal finalised in little over a week.
"I think the first contact was a little more than a week ago and from there it all happened pretty fast," he told Celtic TV.
"I heard of the interest and obviously I was really excited from the beginning and I was pushing for making the deal happen.
"I think the most difficult was everything around it. Once you're on the pitch you don't have time to think about anything else.
"I was glad to get one last game for Elfsborg and it was good to end that chapter in a good way and I'm now just really excited to be here."

Lagerbielke is now keen to follow in the footsteps of greats who have performed for both Celtic and Sweden including Henrik Larsson and Mikael Lustig.
He said: “It’s a good sign that Swedish people like it here and can adapt to Scotland.
“Swedes have been here and done well, so hopefully I can follow in their footsteps.
“Every player who joins Celtic has ambitions to win all the domestic titles and do well in Europe.
“It feels really good, and I’m really excited and proud to be here."
Brendan Rodgers commented: “We are really pleased to finalise the deal for Gustaf to join the club.
"He is an exciting, talented young player who has great attributes and someone who I think is ready for the challenges that Celtic will bring.
"I know he is really hungry to achieve success with us. We think he will bring even more quality to our squad and we really look forward to working with him.”
