During his visit, the former Hoops star appeared to have brought in one of his shirts to sign for the restaurant.
Bella Vita took to Facebook to share their delight at Bitton's appearance.
They wrote: "It’s been a long time coming champ for you to finally come visit again, it was so nice getting to see you, Bar and the kids again.
"A huge thank you for remembering to bring your top in, it means a lot to me.
"You have always been one of Bella Vita's most talented stars (you’ve been coming here for 9 years!) and all the staff and myself have had the pleasure of looking after you and your family throughout the years.
"Safe journey home my friend and hopefully see you next year, ciao"
