Todd Cantwell has updated Rangers’ supporters on his injury recovery injury insisting he is “ticking over nicely”.
The midfielder is not involved tonight as the Ibrox club get their Europa League campaign underway against Real Betis at Ibrox.
Cantwell picked up a knee injury against Celtic before the international break and as a result he will out of action for a number of weeks.
The former Norwich man appeared in the TNT studio ahead of kick-off tonight though as he joined host Emma Dodds and Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes.
On his injury, he said: “I’d much rather be in the changing now, no disrespect. It is ticking over nicely."
The last time Rangers featured in the Europa League the club made it all the way to final under the leadership of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Asked if he reckons Rangers can achieve similar this season, Cantwell added: “In any competition, the sky is the limit really. We will definitely be looking to achieve something similar.”
