Alex Lowry has responded to a question on claims he could be viewed as "arrogant".
The Rangers midfielder - on loan at Hearts - insists anyone given that impression has misread his attitude and demeanour.
Lowry admitted he has sometimes faced criticism over perceived arrogance but insists he has always been conscious to try and avoid any incorrect assumptions being made over his attitude.

And he was told early in his career to avoid the wrong perception by Rangers coach Brian Gilmour.
"I get that sometimes," said Lowry as he responded to a question on 'arrogant' claims.
"One of my coaches at Rangers, Brian Gilmour, he used to always be on to me about perception, the way I walk, the way I talk, the way I conduct myself around about the place.
"That's always been something that I've put first, I've always tried to make sure I conduct myself properly and speak to people the way I would want them to speak to me."

For Lowry - who has scored once and provided four assists for Hearts this term - any wrong impression given could be down to his laid-back demeanour. But he insists assumptions of arrogance couldn't be further from the truth.
He added: "I think that's just me as a person. I'm pretty laid back, pretty relaxed. Obviously, that gives off the wrong impression sometimes, but that's just me as a player and as a person.
"I could talk to anyone, I could talk to a brick wall, talking to people's never been an issue. The wee shouts like that, they're just banter."
