Former Rangers star Jermain Defoe has praised Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou for his start to life at the North London club.
The 41-year-old, who enjoyed three years at Ibrox, is currently Under 18s coach at Spurs and has provided an insight into what the Australian is doing so well.
Tottenham currently sit top of the Premier League, with Postecoglou recently claiming the record for most points earned by a top-flight manager in England in their first nine games.
And Defoe is a big fan of the 58-year-old. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "Do you know what sums him up? The post-match interview after we won at the weekend [2-0 victory against Fulham] and are sitting top of the league.
"You look at all the stats and all the managers, great managers, big names who have come to the Premier League and after nine games to have that many points that he stands at the top, after the game he was still not happy.

"Those sort of standards he has set at the football club of knowing we can improve and do better than that.
"Even though we are on the top of the league and we have won we can do better than that. When everyone gets carried away he remains calm and sets those standards.
"The results are good and that is the most important thing but if you look at the performances and how we play, with the intensity and getting the best out of the players, [Yves] Bissouma who we are seeing the best of, [James] Maddison, who I have been screaming out for the club to buy for the last couple of years.
"What he has been able to do in a short period of time has been amazing and it is so good to watch a team create so many chances."
