Celtic midfielder Matt O'Riley is reportedly "wanted" by Italian giants Inter Milan.

This is according to Sky Sports who claim that the Serie A side are "in the hunt" for the Denmark international and that they are looking to take him on loan in January with an obligation to buy in the summer.

O'Riley has starred under Brendan Rodgers this season for the Hoops, providing nine goals and eight assists so far this season.

The report further goes on to state that Aston Villa and West Ham have taken a keen interest in securing his signature, alongside PSV Eindhoven and Atletico Madrid.

It is thought it would take a club record fee of £25million to secure the 22-year-old's services after he signed a new deal at Parkhead earlier this season until 2027.

Meanwhile, Celtic forward Marco Tilio has been included in Australia's squad for the upcoming Asian Cup.

The winger has struggled with injuries so far during his time in Glasgow making just two cameo appearances from the bench since joining from Melbourne City during the summer transfer window.

Brendan Rodgers is likely to lose stars such as Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda and Oh Hyeon-gyu for the tournament but Tilio is the first official player to be called up for his country.

The 22-year-old will be part of Graham Arnold's 26-man squad for the competition in Qatar as the Socceroos face a group containing Uzbekistan, India and Syria.

If Australia go far in the competition then Tilio could be unavailable until after February 10 2024, when the final takes place.
