Hamilton Academical has been slaughtered for a bizarre social media post thanking 'The Glasgow Rangers'.
Today the League One club announced the signing of Ben Williamson from Rangers.
The midfielder, 22, has joined Accies for an undisclosed fee after coming through Rangers' academy.
He's spent time out on loan at Dundee, Livingston and Raith Rovers. He spent the first half of this season at Partick Thistle.
However, John Rankin has moved to bolster his squad as they look to keep up with Falkirk in the League One title race.
The club's announcement of Williamson has certainly caught the eye of social media users, though.
Their post on X reads: "We are delighted to announce we have now fully completed the signing of Ben Williamson to Hamilton Academical FC.
"We have agreed an undisclosed fee with The Glasgow Rangers FC for the player. We thank The GRFC for their cooperation."

The club's full name is The Rangers International Football Club, however, is usually referred to as Rangers, the same as before the club went into liquidation in 2012.
And this has left several Rangers supporters unhappy on the social media site.
One user wrote: "Most clubs in Scotland have loads of employees who are either Rangers or Celtic fans, but still do their best for their employer. This is objectively tragic though."
Another said: "Making a sevco joke to try and be relevant."
Another pointed out: "No issue here. We've been called The Rangers since formation in 1872."
A fourth said: "Good signing but why would the club announce it like that. Amateur stuff."
And a fifth user wrote: "Embarassing press release. Maybe you'll realise the error of your ways when you got to the big school."
Some fans of other teams did see the funny side of things though.
One account wrote: "When you're signing a player and having a dig at the same time..."
Another said: "This work is going to be fueling the meltdown for another week at least."
And a third commented: "Sensational patter. Get Accies back in the Premiership now."
Hamilton sit second in League One, five points behind leaders Falkirk, although the Bairns do boast a game in hand.
