A CELTIC star has left fans baffled after sharing some stunning holiday snaps.
Alistair Johnston took to social media to share photos of his quick trip to Iceland with his partner.
In one of the pictures, the 25-year-old right back could be seen taking a dip in the freezing sea.
In the post, the defender said: "Who came up with the saying 'Iceland is green & Greenland is ice?' - Asking for a friend.
"A very cold friend."
Fans then took to the comments of the post to discuss one picture in particular - Johnston in the ice-cold water.
One asked: "Missing tropical Canada, are you?"
A second joked: "Scotland not cold enough for you?"
Another said: "You're a brave man for doing that. I felt the chill just looking at the picture."
A fourth chimed: "No chance there's a place colder than Glasgow."
Celtic are set to begin their quest to retain the Scottish Cup as they take on Buckie Thistle on Sunday, January 21.
