The Honduran winger marked his 24th year with a visit to Gaucho with some friends.
The Argentinian-influenced eatery has venues in both Glasgow and Edinburgh, and Palma tagged his location as Glasgow in an Instagram post.
He told his followers: "Thank you to everyone for your dear messages!"
Many fans and teammates joined in to wish Luis many happy returns.
Israeli winger Liel Abada said 'Feliz cumpleaños amigo', meaning 'happy birthday friend' in Palma's native Spanish.
Argentinean Alexandro Bernabei added: "Make sure you have some coffee left bro."
