Celtic are targeting loan moves from England before Thursday's transfer deadline, according to a report.
It's believed the Hoops are looking to draft at least two players in before the winter window closes.
Celtic have added just one new face so far this January, with Nicolas Kuhn arriving from Rapid Vienna earlier this month.
Brendan Rodgers, prior to January, made no secret of his desire to add quality to his squad amid their Premiership title fight with Rangers.
And it seems, while things have been slow recruitment-wise - much to the frustration of the Celtic fans - work is ongoing to make that happen.
A left-back and a forward are the main priorities for Rodgers.
The Daily Mail reports that these players are almost certain to come from England, with that the 'most likely marketplace'.
Celtic's most recent loan player from the Premier League was Liverpool centre-back Nat Phillips. He returned back to Anfield after his six-month stint in Glasgow in early January.
Greg Taylor is out injured which meant that Alexandro Bernabei had to play in the 1-0 win over Ross County at the weekend. A new left-back could be in the building in time for the trip to Aberdeen on Saturday lunchtime.
It certainly won't be Owen Beck, though. He's been loaned back to Dundee after his initial recall by Liverpool.
Sydney van Hooijdonk - son of ex-Celt Pierre - has been heavily linked with a loan move from Bologna, however, it's believed this move isn't likely to materialise at this time.

Meanwhile, negotiations are ongoing between Celtic and Rocco Vata over a new contract.
The winger has been linked with clubs such as Sampdoria, Bologna and Como and his contract expires in the summer, but he was handed his first appearance of the season for Celtic during their cup clash with Buckie Thistle.
It remains to be seen if Vata will remain in Glasgow beyond his current contract, but it is understood that negotiations are ongoing between both parties.
