Honduras FA chief Gerardo Ramos has confirmed they will insist crocked Celtic star Luis Palma goes on international duty despite his latest injury setback.
The £4 million winger picked up a knock that kept him out of their 4-2 Scottish Cup quarter final win against Livingston at the weekend and is reportedly a huge doubt for their weekend game with St Johnstone.
But Honduras are desperate to call on their star man for their one-off Copa America play-off against Costa Rica in Texas, USA.
And Honduran FA general manager Ramos has confirmed Palma will definitely travel.
He said: "Luis Palma has a minor injury that has been worked on with the National Team doctor in conjunction with the Celtic doctor.
"We are positive that Luis will be able to be there for this important match against Costa Rica.
"Logic tells you that Palma is one of the first on the teamsheet and we hope he is 100 per cent ready for that game.
"He does have a small injury, but it is nothing serious and he can recover in the coming days.
"We need the best possible squad for our dream of achieving qualification for the Copa America."
The 24-year-old has won 12 caps for his country and scored one goal against Grenada.

Meanwhile, Reo Hatate is on course to return to action for Celtic after the international break, with manager Brendan Rodgers hoping to have the midfielder in his squad for the trip to face Livingston at the end of the month.
Hatate has endured an injury-hit campaign, making just 11 appearances for Celtic in all competitions throughout the season to date.
After picking up a knock in the early stages of the Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid in October, Hatate returned to action just prior to the winter break, only to tear his calf while on international duty with Japan in the Asia Cup in late January.
