Jude Bellingham is one player that every country would love to have in their team heading into this summer's European Championships. 

Unfortunately for Scotland, he will very much be playing for Gareth Southgate's side in England colours.

However, in what we could only describe as a belated April Fools, in some alternate universe, Bellingham's name has ended up on Scotland's new jersey.

The Real Madrid star is joined by Mason Mount and Marcus Rashford in having their names and numbers printed on the back of the new Adidas kit for Euro 2024.

The fakes, which are available by illegal means online, are available at a cut price from the standard retail cost of £75 for the official kit.

Taking to X, Scotland’s Coefficient posted a picture of the fake kits, saying: “Mate just sent me these pictures – the dangers of buying fake tops.

"Apparently several people have been getting a very English surprise when they open their £15 parcel from China.”

And the post was met with a strong response online.

One wrote: "I mean it’d be class if Bellingham played for Scotland ngl."

Another said: "I’m not even sure an English person would want Mount on the back of an England top."

A third added: "We might just top the group."

And a fourth user said: "That is hilarious - beats a half-and-half scarf right enough."

Scotland will take on hosts Germany in the opening game on Friday, June 14. Their remaining Group A fixtures will come against Switzerland and Hungary later that month.

If Clarke's side do manage to progress from the group, they will create history by become the first Scottish side to progress to the knockout rounds at a major tournament.
