James Tavernier could well join up with former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard in Saudi Arabia this summer.
And there is potential that Connor Goldson could make his way to the Middle East too.
Reports have emerged that the former Ibrox boss is planning to launch a bid to bring two of his old players to Al-Ettifaq.
Yesterday, Saudi media outlet Slaati reported that a deal for Tavernier in particular could be reached upon the conclusion of the domestic season in Scotland on Saturday, May 25, after the Scottish Cup final.
They state that Gerrard has been a 'recommendation' to the recruitment chiefs at Al-Ettifaq, as the Pro-League side aims to get their transfer dealings spot on this summer. This is said to have received the backing of the club.
Goldson's name is another floating around the cash-rich side, who currently sit seventh in Saudi's top division.
Of course, both players were key figures during Gerrard's tenure at Ibrox, and have continued to play a major role under Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Michael Beale and now Philippe Clement.
Gerrard's first season in Saudi hasn't been a classic, with a title-tilt some way off his radar.
But with no signs of giving up on the Liverpool legend, it seems Ettifaq are prepared to back the former England international to get things right with their latest round of recruitment in the months ahead.

Tavernier and Goldson's contracts run until 2026 in Glasgow.
Should both of them leave, it's said that around £70,000-a-week in wages could be freed up for Clement as he tackles a rebuild of his own at Rangers.
Tavenier joined Rangers in 2015 under Mark Warburton's watch in the Championship, and has gone on to become the club's highest-ever scoring defender from right-back.
Goldson was one of Gerrard's first signings when he joined in the summer of 2018.
