VAR resorted to 'guessing' whether Kyogo's first goal in Celtic's 3-1 win over Hearts was onside.
While Neil McCann is of that belief though, he insists he's in favour of marginal calls to be given in favour of the attacker.
After just four minutes, the Japanese striker gave the champions the lead at Parkhead. Reo Hatate picked out his fellow countryman as the frontman scored with a header from close range.
Lawrence Shankland was on the goalline, as goalkeeper Zander Clark acted as Hearts' second last man. Replays showed the Scotland back-up played Kyogo onside - just.
Former Rangers and Hearts player McCann was totally convinced by the lines drawn by the VAR officials.
However, in a plea to Celtic fans, the pundit insisted he was pleased to see the striker given the benefit of the doubt.
He told BBC Sportscene: "I think they have just guessed that big Zander's (Clark) foot is there. But I want to give the advantage to the attacker.
"I am going to let that one go, which will please all the Celtic fans who are at home listening. The whole thing for me is that if Hearts are so resolute at set pieces, how can they take their eye off someone like Kyogo and not pick him up is a concern and they were duly punished."

Celtic boast a six-point advantage over Rangers in the title race as a result, with Philippe Clement's side in action against Kilmarnock this afternoon.
He added."What Celtic have done today is put massive pressure on Rangers tomorrow against a Kilmarnock side that Derek McInnes has assembled so well.
"This is what happens when you get to the sharp end. If you are playing before your rivals in the title race, you need to apply the pressure. The early goal was crucial for Celtic and it took all of that away and let them play with freedom."
