The latest injury update surrounding Aaron Hickey's Euro 2024 chances won't be music to the ears of Scotland fans.
Hickey, 21, appears likely to be absent from Steve Clarke's 26-man squad that will face Germany, Hungary and Switzerland next month due to injury.
The Brentford full-back has been out of action since October with a hamstring issue.
And Bees head coach, Thomas Frank, disclosed on Thursday that Hickey will not feature for the club again this season.
When questioned about the chances of the Heart of Midlothian youth graduate participating in this summer's tournament, Frank expressed little optimism.

"No, we're not going to see him this season," said Frank.
"I'm not the manager of Scotland, but I don't think it is positive."
Hickey earned his first Scotland cap against Poland two years ago and has since amassed 14 international appearances - proving pivotal during qualification.
