Rangers may have turned it around on the night as they thumped Dundee 5-2.
But that didn't stop a prominent Rangers fan group from walking out before the player had the chance to get an end-of-season lap of honour.
The Union Bears sent a clear message to the team and the board by snubbing the tradition in the last home match of the campaign.
In their penultimate Scottish Premiership match of the 2023/24 season, Rangers found themselves 2-0 down in the first half.
However, a comeback started by Ross McCausland's goal in the nick of time before the break, saw Philippe Clement's team romp home as 5-2 winners on home turf.
The result means Celtic know they need just a point from their trip to Rugby Park on Wednesday night to clinch a 54th league title.
It's been a disappointing end to the season for the Light Blues after they promised to deliver a closely-fought title race until the bitter end.
However, Saturday's 2-1 loss at Celtic Park all but ended those hopes - and it seems fans have lost patience with the players.

In what will be Celtic's 12th title in 13 years, a section of the Rangers faithful made their feelings known at full-time by refusing to clap their team's players before heading for the Ibrox exit doors.
It's believed the group, sat in the bottom left corner of the Broomloan Stand, left bang on Matthew MacDermid's full-time whistle.
Skipper James Tavernier led his teammates around the pitch so that the players could show their appreciation to the supporters for their backing throughout the season, and vice versa.
As pictured though, the Union Bears had long vacated their section of the ground by the time the lap of honour reached them.
The final Rangers fixture of the league season comes against Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday.
