Celtic were crowned Scottish Premiership champions on Wednesday night, whereafter fans gathered at Celtic Park to welcome the team back to Glasgow from Kilmarnock.
Unofficial fan group the Green Brigade sent out a call-to-arms ahead of the late-night title party in midweek – and has announced further plans for this Saturday, following the Parkhead side's league encounter at home to St Mirren.
"Trongate Title Party, after Celtic vs St Mirren, 18.05.24," reads the post, which, at the time of writing, has been viewed 50,000 times, liked almost 2,000 times and reposted close to 400.
After the same fixture during the last two seasons, Celtic fans have gathered in the same part of Glasgow City Centre after watching their team get presented with the league trophy at Celtic Park.
Despite the match being rendered meaningless in the context of league competition itself, Brendan Rodgers nevertheless called for his players to put in the same showing of entertaining football that saw them overcome Kilmarnock 5-0 in Ayrshire on Wednesday night.
Midfielder James Forrest echoed similar sentiments in his own pre-match press conference ahead of St Mirren on Saturday.
After that, Celtic and Rangers turn their attention to each other ahead of the Scottish Cup Final 2024 at Hampden Park on Saturday, May 25.
