Wayne Rooney has revealed he wished he'd played for Celtic during his playing career.
The Manchester United and England legend stated he would have loved to have played for Celtic before hanging up his boots.
Gary Neville quizzed Rooney on his career in a quickfire questions episode of The Overlap.
And the pundit was left stunned as Rooney immediately named Celtic as the club he wished he'd played for before retiring.
Neville had said: "The club you wish you'd played for in your career? You played for Everton..."
Without hesitation, Rooney replied: "Celtic, I'd say. "

A stunned Neville then remarked: "Celtic? Wow. Celtic fans, you missed out there!"
Rooney previously detailed his love for Celtic after netting a double for England against Scotland in a friendly at Parkhead.
He said: "I always enjoy coming here and I’ve been to Celtic Park a few times now and I’ve enjoyed the stadium so it was obviously even better that we got the victory.
“It was great to lead the boys out into that and it’s always great to captain the team in such an occasion at Celtic Park. It was a great game to play in and great to get the win.
“My family and I have always followed Celtic, since I was a boy anyway, so my kids have all got Celtic kits and I always look out for the scores."
