Rangers will have to hand over a chunk of their Sam Lammers transfer windfall to two clubs in the Netherlands after his move to Twente Enschede.

The Dutch club have forked out a reported fee of around £2.5 million to Rangers to sign the 27-year-old, who had a nightmare time at Ibrox.

However, two of Lammers' previous clubs will also benefit because of development clauses from his time at the teams in his homeland.

The biggest beneficiary will be PSV Eindhoven, who are set to collect £100,000 because Lammers was at the club for five years before moving to Atalanta.

And Willem II are also set to receive £10,000 as part of a development fee when he was a kid at the Tilburg outfit.

Lammers managed just two goals in 31 appearances for Rangers before being shipped out on loan to Utrecht, where he couldn't stop scoring.

He broke a club record by netting in seven games in a row and eventually netted 13 for them.

Meanwhile, Manchester United's stance over Rangers transfer target Hannibal Mejbri has been detailed by a French media outlet.

It was revealed yesterday that the Tunisia international is a recruitment target for Philippe Clement this summer as he aims to reshape his squad.

He's expected to lose Todd Cantwell, Sam Lammers and Connor Goldson, while captain James Tavernier, and Scott Wright could also follow suit through the Ibrox exit door. 

It was said that the Scottish Premiership club were in 'advanced talks' to sign Mejbri, 21.

However, according to Le Parisien, this is not the case.

They claim that the English Premier League giants would prefer to offload the attacking midfielder on a permanent deal.
