Rangers will sell Ianis Hagi this summer, Philippe Clement has confirmed.
The manager of the Ibrox club was asked about the Romania international during tonight's pre-match press conference in Poland.
That came after Hagi played 45 minutes for the B team at the club's training centre back home in Glasgow this afternoon.
"No, we had clear talks before the pre-season with his agents about that," Clement said when asked if the 25-year-old was part of his first-team plans. "We need to look, like I said, at a lot of things in the club about wages, how many you can have in a position with the budget we have and to get the budget to get transfers.
"So, it was really clear towards him that the idea was to sell him.
"That is what we wanted also so that is the clear situation."
The other breakout line from tonight's media conference is that Oscar Cortes will be out for "four or five weeks" after suffering an injury on the opening day of the season.
The 20-year-old Colombian was forced off early in the second-half as Rangers drew 0-0 with Hearts in their first game of the 2024/25 Scottish Premiership season.

Clement confirmed afterwards that the winger had been checked over at half-time, having initially pulled up towards the end of the first 45, but felt able to carry on.
Clement confirmed that following a scan, Cortes will be missing for more than a month.
Cortes arrived at the club in January on an initial loan deal from Lens. The Ligue 1 outfit brought Cortes to France following an impressive spell with Millonarios in Colombia and his impressive performance at the U20 South American Championships in 2023.
