Neil Lennon insisted he has no intention of quitting Rapid Bucharest and is at the club for the 'long haul' after they became the only team in Romania to fail to win any of their opening five league games.

The former Celtic and Hibs boss returned to Romania after the passing of his mother last week and took charge of his side in a 1-1 draw with Gloria Bazau.

It was their fourth draw in their opening five games with the other match a defeat and left Rapid floundering in 12th spot, They are the only club in Romania's 16-team top flight without a win.

Rapid face bitter Bucharest rivals Dinamo on Sunday and Lennon insists he's going nowhere despite pressure growing on him.

He said: "I'm here to stay for the long haul.

"Nothing has to happen, nothing has to change.

"I don't think it's fair talking about leaving the club after five league games.

"We still have our target of finishing in the top six. Winning the title here is difficult because there are a lot of good teams.

"At the moment we are lacking confidence, but we are not far from finding the ideal formula. We are creating chances."
