Kilmarnock assistant manager Paul Sheerin has admitted there is a “decision to make” with Robby McCrorie back to full fitness and keen to reclaim his goalkeeping spot.
The 26-year-old was forced to withdraw from Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for the Nations League double-header against Poland and Portugal due to a hip problem, having been restricted to Kilmarnock’s bench in the weeks before the international break.
McCrorie, who signed a permanent deal from Rangers in the summer, has now returned to full fitness but Killie boss Derek McInnes has been left with a big decision to make, with Kieron O’Hara impressing in his absence.

Speaking ahead of Kilmarnock's clash with St Mirren on Saturday, assistant manager Paul Sheerin said: "Robby is there, I think he should be OK. I know he’s been making the bench but in terms of fitness he’s certainly a lot better now. Kieran’s been great since he went in. I don’t think there’s been any issues with that.
“Robby’s fine so he’ll be part of the squad, as he has been, albeit a wee bit more fitter probably than he was pre-break. Similar to every position, there are decisions to be made with that.”
