Head Coach Rob Chrystie said: “It’s fantastic to have four of our 2024/25 ‘A’ team fixtures now confirmed.
“The schedule gives the squad and coaches greater clarity and allows us to plan effectively for the season ahead. The ‘A’ team programme is vital for the development of our younger players and a great opportunity for them to test themselves against top-quality opposition.
“We’re really looking forward to getting started and kicking off the season with a derby against Glasgow ‘A’ at Hive Stadium later this month.”
As part of the wider pathways programme, the Edinburgh club will announce further ‘A’ team fixtures at a later date.
A combined Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors academy will face an Ulster U23 side at Scotstoun Stadium on Friday afternoon (13 September, kick-off 4pm).
