Slovan Bratislava striker David Strelec admitted they got away with only conceding five goals as skipper Vladimir Weiss accepted they were completely outclassed by Celtic.
Celtic ran amok against the Slovakian champions as they got their European campaign off to a sensational start in Glasgow with a 5-1 win.
And Slovan Bratislava stars admitted they were blown away by the famous Parkhead atmosphere....and then by Celtic themselves in the Champions League opener.
Strelec said: "In the second half they dismantled us and we were happy they only scored five goals.
"The atmosphere was great and the fans were fantastic, but we wanted to come here and get a point, but we were nowhere near it."
And ex-Rangers star Weiss admitted he blew a great opportunity in the first half before Slovan folded.
He said: "This was a very different Celtic than from a few years ago. It was a very difficult match for us., "It's a shame I didn't take my chance at 1-0 down. If I had scored, maybe it would have been a different game. I didn't even get a shot away "Celtic showed great qualities and deserved their win.

"We came here and expected a tough match in an incredible atmosphere and we got both. But we have to learn from this and improve as the tournament progresses."
Slovan goalscorer Kevin Wimmer praised the Celtic performance.
The former Spurs defender said: "We were handed a lesson and schooled in football.
"It was a beautiful moment for me to score and I thought that goal might give us a chance, but we made too many mistakes.
"We knew Celtic were a great team, especially at home and that it would be very difficult for us and I think they showed that.
"Tactically, they are very good and their full-backs and midfielders are always on the attack. They overwhelmed us."
