Celtic defender Auston Trusty made his starting debut against Falkirk on Sunday, as the home side overcame the visitors 5-2 in the Scottish League Cup.
Falkirk entered the break 2-1 up, however a handful of substitutes saw Brendan Rodgers' side reclaim the match with some typically dominant passages of play.
Speaking to Celtic TV after the match, Trusty said: "I'm very happy to get my first start here, in this historic stadium [in front of] this crowd. It's a dream come true and it's amazing.
"The first half wasn't what we wanted to happen, but it's a group of guys who were still getting the rhythm. They came here to get minutes and it's a group who don't necessarily have the chemistry but as time went on we started getting that rhythm, and that's what we saw in the second half."

The 26-year-old went on to hail the substitutes who helped change the momentum of the match – Nicolas Kuhn came off the bench to assist twice and score twice – and likewise highlighted the ubiquitous winning mindset among the group that's already impressed him.
He added: "The [substitutes] made a huge impact. The guys who came in are class, so when they come in and make an impact like that it only helps the team.
"Every game is a challenge, no game is easy, and that's the mindset that I've seen coming here. They approach every game with the right mindset and the right way so I'm looking forward to it.
"Everyone here has welcomed me with open arms. It's honestly a great environment and I couldn't be happier to be here. I'm excited for the future and I'm excited to get close to these guys."
