Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers dined at a popular Glasgow restaurant ahead of his trip to Germany.

The squad is in Dortmund where they will face Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night in their second Champions League fixture of the season. 

But at the weekend, the Parkhead boss was in the mood for a taste of Spain.

Before making the journey to Europe, Brendan took some time to enjoy an evening out at Malaga Tapas in Pollokshields.

The 51-year-old visited the eatery for a meal and also happily posed for a photo with staff, who thanked him for visiting. 

Based in the Southside and with restaurants in Bearsden and Clarkston, Malaga Tapas is popular with other famous faces including comedian Kevin Bridges.

The Clydebank funnyman has dined there numerous times and is good friends with the boss Jamie Gonzalez-Bradley. 

Celtic's game against the Bundesliga side comes after their comfortable 5-1 win against Slovan Bratislava at Parkhead.
