This is the heartwarming moment that Ally McCoist surprised a lifelong Rangers fan on his 80th birthday.
Ian was at Ibrox for last night's Europa League encounter with Ligue 1 side Lyon as he celebrated a landmark day in his life.
A lovely gesture organised between TNT Sports and the Scottish Premiership club before the match saw the elderly supporter meet one of his Gers heroes, with the moment captured on camera.
The cameras had Ian set up in position in the new disabled section in the Copland Stand as they asked him about his memories of McCoist.

As he answered, fresh from picking up his OBE from Prince William on Wednesday, McCoist appeared, jokingly saying: "Is that you telling them about all the chances I missed?"
The pair warmly embraced as McCoist asked Ian how long he'd been a supporter and wished him a happy birthday.
Ian had McCoist in stitches when he poked fun at Celtic's 7-1 loss against Borussia Dortmund. He said: "The Celtic result was great."

Laughing, McCoist responded: "The Celtic result was great? I'm on camera, I'll get shot if I agree with you!"
The birthday boy then quipped that he saw McCoist miss plenty of chances, before agreeing that the striker did not too badly in front of goal for the club overall.Ā
Ian would have been disappointed later in the evening as his team as they lost 4-1 at the hands of Lyon.
Philippe Clement's side were swatted away by the French outfit at ease, and the scoreline really could've been worse.
