Rangers captain James Tavernier has paid tribute to last night’s Ibrox crowd for spurring the team on to a dominant 4-0 win over FCSB in the Europa League.
It was a comfortable evening for Philippe Clement’s side with goals from Tom Lawrence, Vaclav Cerny either side of half time and a first in blue for Moroccan forward Hamza Igmane.

Tavernier took to social media this morning to thank the fans after a ‘much better’ performance from the Gers.
Scrutiny has been mounting around the club after an underwhelming start to the Scottish Premiership season which sees them six points behind Celtic and Aberdeen after eight games.

Last night’s emphatic win has also eased pressure on manager Philippe Clement who came under fire after last weekend’s 1-0 league defeat to Kilmarnock.
Rangers have picked up six points from their opening three Europa League games, with wins against last night’s opponents FCSB and Swedish side Malmo, along with a 4-1 loss to Lyon at Ibrox.
