Rangers fans have unveiled another banner directed at the Ibrox board - this time telling them that they are destroying the football club. 

The Light Blues host St Mirren on Sunday afternoon, with the Govan outfit already trailing Aberdeen and Celtic in the Scottish Premiership title race. 

Supporters have been less than impressed by how the Rangers hierarchy have allowed several key roles to be vacated without suitable replacements, while the pressure remains on manager Philippe Clement to deliver positive results on the pitch. 

That angst could be felt in the stadium yet again this weekend. 

The banner from the area where the Union Bears are now housed, read: "Your ineptitude is destroying our club. Time for fans to force change."

And in second half, the same section held up a message related to Rangers' recent UEFA fines for the use of pyrotechnics - which could potentially the the Copland Road Stand closed, and said: "Worrying about thousands, while wasting millions."

Asked about the discontent in the Rangers fanbase after last weekend's defeat to Kilmarnock, Clement said: “It’s normal that they’re unhappy. There’s not one person on the staff or one player who was happy after this game, after losing.

“So that’s normal. The players showed respect towards the fans, the fans showed what they felt about the results, and that’s normal.

“So it’s about getting back the results, that’s the main thing , and then the fans get behind you.

“I think the anger has to do with a lot of things. So I will be focused on the sporting side to get the best out of this squad.

“We’re going to work really hard with this squad, and there is a lot of potential in this squad. Much more potential than people see maybe for the moment. So it’s about working hard with them and making them better.”
