The 24-year-old spent part of his youth career in Leipzig’s academy before spells at Ajax and Bayern Munich.
Brendan Rodgers spent £3 million to bring the German-born winger to Celtic from Rapid Vienna in January 2024 on a five-and-a-half-year deal.
Following last night’s inspired performance against his former side, Kuhn has sent shockwaves throughout his homeland.
German sports outlet Bild shared the headline: ‘German no-name professional embarrasses Leipzig’.
Last night's statement victory was Celtic's second of their Champions League campaign following a 5-1 win over Slovan Bratislava on matchday one.
The Hoops also earned an important point against Atalanta after a 0-0 draw in Bergamo in the wake of a tough 7-1 away defeat to Dortmund.
