Alistair Johnston is reportedly on the brink of sealing a bumper new Celtic contract.
It's reported club chiefs have offered a "significant increase" in salary to the 26-year-old in the hope of him committing his future to Celtic.
The right-back is currently under contract until the summer of 2027 but a new deal is close.
Celtic chiefs had opened talks with Johnston and his representatives in September but it's now claimed the talks have "advanced significantly".
The Daily Record claim Johnston's agent has flown into Scotland to thrash out the final details of the contract extension.
It's reported Celtic officials are confident over the new deal being finalised in the near future.

Previously discussing Johnston's impact at Celtic, after scoring an opening goal against Dundee, Brendan Rodgers said: "He is a very important player for us. He's got the feeling of scoring goals now and he's hungry. He's top class and he is a real leader within this team.
"He Is very strong defensively. He is physically good and technically strong and tactically he understands the game.
"He is a tough boy mentally. He has been great and he has done fantastic for us. It was a really good goal Alistair scored as he is on the move when the ball comes across and he finishes it well."
