Rangers have banked another welcome Europa League bonus with their draw in Greece tonight.
Philippe Clement's side took on the reigning Europa Conference League holders Olympiacos in Athens this evening.
Cyriel Dessers scored as the frontman cancelled out El Kaabi's wonderful strike for the hosts during the second half, to ensure the game finished 1-1.
The result has Rangers on seven points in the new-look Europa League league phase, with four ties still to play.
And it means Rangers have pocketed a further €150k (£126k) with a draw bonus from UEFA.
This tops up the tasty €450k (£375k) they earned for winning against Malmo in September, and the same amount again with three points against Steaua Bucharest in October.
Rangers have already banked €4.31m (£3.6m) for qualifying for the league phase of the Europa League this term.
Rangers know they will also earn at least €75k (£62k) for their involvement in the league phase with that figure increased by €75k for every position above bottom they finish in the table.
Potential Europa League payments
1st to 8th in league phase - €600k (£500k)
9th to 16th in league phase - €300k (£250k)
At least €75k - increased by the same figure for every position above the bottom in the league phase.
- qualification for the knockout round play-offs: €300k per club
- qualification for the round of 16: €1.75m per club
- qualification for the quarter-finals: €2.5m per club
- qualification for the semi-finals: €4.2m per club
- qualification for the final: €7m per club
The UEL winners can expect to receive an additional €6m.
