Rangers legend Graeme Souness was spotted at a popular family restaurant in Glasgow recently.

The 71-year-old dined at Italian favourite Caprese Don Costanzo in the city's Woodlands on Friday night.

Staff were delighted to host Souness, who appears to be a bit of a regular as they said it was great to see him "again" and that it was a "pleasure as always".

Souness was a player-manager for the Ibrox side from 1986 to 1991, leading the club to three Scottish titles and four league cups.

We recently reported that he was made a CBE for his services to football and charity.

Prince William presented Souness with the honour in a ceremony also recognising The Crown star Imelda Staunton, singer Rebecca Ferguson and Duran Duran legend Simon Le Bon.

Caprese Don Costanzo has developed a cult following particularly with celebrities.

Founded in a basement on Buchanan Street in 1982, the restaurant moved to Woodlands Road when their old home was being redeveloped.

It has since attracted visits from the likes of Ally McCoist, Brendan Rodgers, Brendan Fraser and Molly-Mae Hague.
