Neraysho Kasanwirjo has dealt Rangers a major injury blow.
The Light Blues defender was in action for the Netherlands Under-21 side against England this evening (November 18) when he overstretched whilst tussling for the ball with an opposition player.
He immediately fell to the ground and it's suggested that the 22-year-old may have sustained a serious knee injury.
Kasanwirjo, who was visibly shaken, went straight down the tunnel to receive treatment on the issue.
The setback comes ahead of a gruelling fixture schedule for Rangers as they balance Scottish Premiership duties with the Europa League. Plus, there's the small matter of a Premier Sports Cup final to come against Celtic next month.
Kasanwirjo was a Deadline Day recruit, penning a season-long loan at Ibrox from Feyenoord with the option to make the move permanent next summer.
He's made 12 appearances for Rangers so far...but it remains to be seen when he will wear the jersey again.
