Despite coming off the bench in last week's quarter-final first-leg against Jamaica, Auston Trusty did not feature in the USA's 4-2 second-leg win.
Brought on with three minutes of normal time remaining in the first-leg, Trusty shored up the defence for eight minutes (including stoppage time) at left-back – a position he's played in before at previous clubs, however one he hasn't yet filled at Celtic.
With Hearts at Tynecastle this Saturday night (7.45pm kick-off), Trusty will likely start for Brendan Rodgers, therefore his omission in this instance likely isn't the worst thing for the player and his manager at club level.

Monday night's victory saw the States progress 5-2 on aggregate in what was an entertaining 90 minutes of football.
Christian Pulisic put his side in front after 13 minutes, before a Di'Shon Bernard own goal over the half-hour mark doubled USA's lead.
Ricardo Pepi made it three before half-time, before Jamaica's Demarai Gray pulled one back.
Current Juventus forward and one-time Celtic loanee Timothy Weah, however, put the match out of sight in the 56th minute.
Gray netted another shortly after that again, but the United States saw out the game at 4-2.
Signed under Rodgers during the Irishman's first stint in the Parkhead dugout, Weah spent a few months on loan at Celtic between January 2019 and the summer of the same year.
Given Rodgers departed for Leicester City in February 2019, Weah spent most of time at Celtic working under then interim manager Neil Lennon.
