Rangers continued to play their best football on the European stage as they brushed aside OGC Nice on Thursday night.
That 4-1 thrashing of the their French hosts puts Rangers in the ideal position. They sit eighth in the Europa League league phase table, with a plausible return of 10 points from their opening five games. Should they finish there, then they would secure automatic progression into the competition's knock-out stage.
Winger Vaclav Cerny scored during the rout at Allianz Riviera and knows just how crucial it is for Rangers to sustain their Euro momentum while being a threat domestically.
"Obviously it's a massive win for us and a very good result for the future of the Europa League," he stated. "It's also very important to take the good things from it going forward in the competition now.
"You think [you can win these games], that's why you make a game plan for every game because you think it's the best for that particular game. So, we were well-prepared, we did all we had to do and it fitted perfectly."

Rangers' main problem this season is their failure to emulate their European performances when they are competing within Scottish football.
The Light Blues already find themselves 11 points behind Celtic in the Premiership title race and there's been a section of supporters calling for manager Philippe Clement to be sacked.
Previewing the upcoming match against St Johnstone with Sky Sports, Cerny said: "It will be a tough one as every game is. It sounds cliche but it's just like that. We just need to recover well from Thursday and be at 120% ready to fight, play good football and try to win the game.
"We are well-prepared, we know we have the opportunity to take care of the bodies every day on a very high level which we do. I like this schedule because you just keep playing and you can keep in the rhythm. The games coming fast after each other is just what you want as a player.
"We know what position we are in right now, believe me are focused for every single game exactly the same, and we just want to see game by game and try to win it all.
"Usually around this time, I think the pressure is there all the time which I think is good and is nothing new. So, the most important thing is to stick together and work as hard as we can."
